Reclaimed Wood Porch Swing

Inspired by the classic rope swings of the past, this modern porch swing is a perfect blend of nostalgia and craftsmanship.

Built from reclaimed wood, it carries the warmth and character of its history while offering a sleek, modern design. The slatted back and armrests provide both comfort and breathability, making it an inviting spot for lounging, reading, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

To honor traditional maritime craftsmanship, the swing is suspended using old-world sailing techniques, featuring an expertly crafted eye splice with stainless steel clevis and hooks for both security and durability. The thick, twisted rope adds a rustic charm, enhancing the classic swing aesthetic.

For the finishing touch, custom padding was designed and ordered to match the exact layout, ensuring both style and comfort in perfect harmony. This swing isn’t just a piece of furniture—it’s an invitation to slow down, relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures of a perfect porch moment.
