This handcrafted cutting board is more than just a kitchen essential—it’s a statement piece. Built from solid sugar maple, known for its durability and tight grain, this board is designed to withstand years of chopping, slicing, and dicing. But what makes it truly special is the African Mahogany inlay, adding a rich contrast and a touch of elegance to the design.

At 1 ¾” thick and measuring 12” x 18”, this board has the heft to stay put during food prep while still being easy to move, thanks to its chamfered edges. No more struggling to lift your board—just a smooth, comfortable grip every time. The recessed rubber feet bushings keep it steady on any surface, providing both stability and airflow underneath to help prevent moisture buildup.

This project was all about precision and refinement—getting those inlays just right, shaping the chamfers for easy handling, and ensuring the surface is smooth enough for both kitchen use and display. Whether you’re prepping a meal or showing off some charcuterie, this cutting board is built to be both functional and beautiful.
